THE KEY TECHNOLOGY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE-FILLED STEEL TUBULAR COMPOSITE COLUMN

The foreword part of this article made a brief introduction of the concrete-filled steel tubular composite column. Then, the key technologies for the construction of concrete-filled steel tubular columns are introduced respectively from manufacture and on-site construction, and suggestions for design and construction are given in combination with practical engineering cases. The section of steel tube manufacture describes the quality influencing factors and technical control points of material, type of steel tube, section diameter-thickness ratio and so on. According to the construction sequence of concrete-filled steel tubular composite column, the on-site construction sections analyze the problems that may occur during the process of steel tube installation and concrete pouring, and the corresponding preventive measures and control points are given as well. In the fourth part, typical projects of high-rise buildings in different climate zones were selected to expound the domestic application of concrete-filled steel tubular columns. At the end, suggestions related to the structural safety, construction quality, efficiency improvement, and environmental protection were given from the different respects of design and construction, providing reference for the follow-up projects.
